    Yellow `trim` ... :thumbd: - Assume > 40k ... ?

I honestly don`t see the point and hope that they do not produce it [:s]

Yeah I agree, the yellow trim is horrible.

But I do think they should produce a high HP Golf which wears the GTI badge.

IMO, the current R should be the GTI. With the same styling as the GTI.

Why would that make any sense at all?

I can't wait for then to realise it, either as the Golf R Evo or R400. I might even put my name down for one.

As a road car it`s all for show, where I want to drive I don`t want all that weight and anything above 2WD & 250bhp is a waste.

I`d prefer that VW concentrate on a lighter Polo / Golf of < 1200kgs ... in support of their rally success and hopefully that in rallycross too.

I must say, it does look very nice, especially those tailpipes

Not sure on the yellow line, but that's my only negative really.

It would be nice to see this on sale.

The high power Gti is the edition (anniversary) and a gti is a quick hot hatch that's an everyday car and half decently priced. The r is not that.

I agree that the yellow is horrible, why not stick to the usual blue of the normal r
