Actually it was a spoilt little brat who spent most of its time crapping all over me and making me miserable but first car, first love you know what it's like.

And I had just about gotten it to a point where I was happy with it too...

So much for being built like tanks. Apparently I put a kink in the roof.

Good effort, what did you hit?

Must have been that tarmac rippling power gained from the Webers that did it...

Corsa... Which hit a Passat =/

Is that a 5-door shell, Mike?

I'm actually considering getting a 8v GTi and swapping all the bits over could I expect 150 with the head, cam and carbs? Have a feeling I'll still be chasing smoke in the wind though so either going to give up driving or hope my friend gets his 16vt running.

It's a 3 door, with doors and glass, but no bonnet or boot. Pretty solid, but needs a little welding and a lot of paint.

Not really in the mood for another project, just want to focus on my paddling.

    Thanks anyway, Mike.
