Went to collect my VR today, and oh my god, what a motor. Absolutely stunning. Ice grey violet , with full heated black leather, specialist service history, and it absolutely flies when you want, but is deadly quite when doing 80. Unless of course you put the boot down!
After the unrefinement of my MKII, this is like a rolls royce!
Just thought I'd let you all know. I've still got the golf though, going into my garage to get it sorted for shows etc.
I'm off to drive it some more!

Here you go, some pics. The weather was still bad, so the interior in the front is slightly wet, and there is some rain on the lens on the back seat shots. It hasn't been cleaned yet either by the way.

i'm sure i've asked this already (maybe it was on a similar thread)..

whats the handling characteristics of a corrrado? is it more like mkIII golf forgiving? or mkII golf snappyness?

Corrado handling is more like the Mk2 but it has a slightly different "live" rear axle set up. The two I had seemed to have lively rear ends compared to the Mk2 but overall they are a lot better in my opinion.

Looking lovely!! I love the Ice Grey Violet colour!

Just to put my mind at ease, what's the mileage and how much did you pay, if you don't mind me asking?

Lovely car, if i could bear to part with the mk2 i'd get a corrado vr.

I dont suppose you ran into any bumped or stolen recovered ones while you were looking at vr6's did you? PM me if you did.
