Graphic designer in the house?

Hi,
Ive been trying to make a flyer for something, but im useless at getting the layout right etc.
Does anybody fancy having a go for me?

I have the base image and i know what i want the text to say, its just putting them together lol

but im not sure about the date? you sure its the 19th? cant read the one you send me. its easily changed if needs be.

The idea is that i have a flyer where i can edit the date to whenever the next meet is.

jedi, you're good on photoshop nowadays, what is it you're after exactly?

you can't get the layout right? does it have to be a specific size? or is it that you don't think any of your ideas are any good?

Wez, im after a 'digital flyer' or 'poster' that i can put at the top of my posts for when i organise future Reading Vag meets.

Basically just to make it a bit more profesional and official..

I just have no experience in this sort of thing, so im not sure where to start tbh.

I like that one you've posted, maybe a bit to lairy though.

I think ill have another go myself, just need to get some inspiration lol Copey has helped me though, i like the empty car space being used like that

i say just copy the import nights one, remove the sponsors bit at the bottom and change the jap crap from the main pic and it'll look less lairy, and professional enough,
should be able to mock that up in 15 minutes max......

i like the film strip and the reading vag meet text, but the text underneath i would of kept simpler and more readable, and the main image needs changing or messing about ith, but that's just me, if it gets the job done...

 

Maybe i am clutching onto that pic too much lol i just really like it and it shows the day exactly how it was.. maybe ill run it through some filters lol
