What's the long term prospects of Mk2 Golf parts ? And subsequent models ? For how many years do you keep models parts available?
Hi, We have no fixed time frame for keeping stock, we base it purely on sales analysis data and the supply/demand for the specific product. Items such as general service items, filters, braking components and such like don't change often, they work across multiple platforms and sometimes other manufacturers completely, these will remain in stock for years to come. Specific items such as Mk2 body work, lights and model exclusive items will slowly fade out over the next few years. Demand diminishes, purchase prices rise and warehouse space is at a premium so we have to stock the items that put money in the bank! People may have noticed we post the odd model specific item on here, things often turn up in the warehouse we no longer have room or requirements for so we sell them off, I will continue to post any relevant items up on the forum so keep an eye out .
