Hi Guys (and girls?) I have recently been trying to find some parts for my Golf and have been using the GSF website, personally I think its a pain in the back side to actually find something quickly. You have to find the part then match it up to the model, doing this for a couple of parts soon turns into a nightmare! Anyway I've created an Excel sheet with filters on each page (sheet) so you can actually select the model you have then see all the available parts for it and I've created a pretty little start page so you can go straight to the right page without having to scroll through all the sheets. Hopefully some people will make use of it! I've got the file on my webspace at GSF Golf MK3.xls Cheers Pete
I cant get it to work in Office 2007, says something to do with 'marcos' or something I dont have a Mk3 either
Oh yeah I forgot to mention it has lots of macros in (they make the buttons on the first page work) You probs have to turn the security in office to medium or low to use the buttons. You can of course just click the sheets at the bottom of the page and not worry about the buttons at all! Cheers Pete
Got to agree that GSF site is bollox. I am not a web designer but that site hasn`t changed since the internet was invented and could seriously do with being in the 21st century. I swear I saw some of the part nos. in roman numerals. If you are going to sell 5h1te GSF at least make it look as though your website doesn`t match your goods.
