    Guys,

PLEASE go into "settings" for each car (before a race)and turn off the default TCS and ASM. You only have to do it once for each car

It feels much more like GT 1 and 2 now!

Even my poobox Nissan Silvia kicks sideways when I hit the laughing gas now!

This is the way it was meant to be played!

    TURN IT OFF!!!

Now try to handle your 900 bhp Skyline; easy out of those corners............

Oh and manual transmission only folks.

    Driver aids are for girls.

    :)

ps, of course, feel free to enjoy GT4 in your own way....

not that I have GT4, but I dont understand this. certain cars have traction control in real life, turning it off in the game is unrealistic on those.

in GT3 I have a 1070bhp TVR tuscan speed 12 thats damn hard to drive with traction control on and turned down low (how I keep it) - the TCS light is flashing all the way through 4th and even into 5th if I floor it in a straight line! And watching a replay of a race, theres smoke coming from the tyres all the way to 5th

of course, it makes life far more fun if you turn it off on most cars. 608bhp audi S4 is faster with the traction control completely off, for me [:D]

Try winning/buying a chevy chevelle ss 454 460 bhp out of the box ,it'll smoke the tyres(sorry tyre as it hasn't got an lsd yet) through all 4 gears and until bout a tone . but the tyre squeal really urinees you off after a half the 'ring ;)
my fave toy is my buick gnX 565 hp wipes the floor against a standard viper.doesn't stop though !!!! [:D]

I haven't turned the driver aids of yet but playing GT4 in auto mode is just plain gay.

    Well said that man.
I never use the driving aids in racing games, and I always have to use manual gears. If I don't, then I just feel like I'm cheating myself.

    Cheers, Jamie
