Car: Ford Focus ST '06


Modifications: Unrestricted


Rules

Times: Lap times need to be valid 'white' laps and viewable on the 'Rankings' page.

Proof: With most people having mobile phones and digital cameras, those posting top 3 or top 5 times need to be accompanied by proof, there is a guide on the forum for how to post pictures (or pictures can be emailed to me)

Might be a daft question but how do you put your time up on the rankings page

 

When you get a clean lap it'll go into your own rankins list, thats not a club list if thats what you were thinking?

 

Christ how do get such a low time, I'm struggling to get lower than 7min 14secs

 

Is the car fully done up with racing soft tyres? Also even if the car has done 0miles an oil change seems to add a few more horses.

 

Yep, fully done up, as my teacher once said, must try harder.

What view do use

 

If only there were a way to do a challenge for standard cars and still ensure no cheaters...

 

Could set future challenges in arcade mode and choose from the arcade mode cars only? Therrefore unmodified. Dont think there will be many on here cheating, not like theres big prizes invoved.

I find all these maxed out massive grip cars somewhat tiring. So far, and I'm level 25 now on GT5, I've only ever bought a pair of race tyres for the mk5 challenge!

Managed a 6.55.9 and a 6.55.2 (crashing on both laps) hence they was red laps.
I think on the current set up I have a 54 will be possible.

Diff settings will be my next thing to play with


PS, i am using a contoller too lol

 

Yea got a logitech G27, cant remember the exact setup but I just go 10-15mm lower and about 2 stiffer on everything, little bit of camber front a rear like 1.5 - 0.5 and abit of front toe out, LSD is on the max settings I think, I think more time can be taken off easy as I found a fair few seconds in the Mk5 since getting used to its setup.
