Been on from time to time, just didnt log in mate. Been watching your progress with your engine. Alot of very good information in those threads
Mate keeps hassling me to go up to see him. He lives in Bolton, so might pass by when i do. Will let you know when the time comes.

 

So engine coming out so I can hone ans fiddle with it a bit lol

Advice on brake servos and master cylinders please while engines out silly not to sort ?
Currently got g60 calipers on 256 discs will keep as is till I've used the 4or 5 sets of discs I've got in my cupboard as I feel confident with the stopping power currently will go onto 280 discs as power increases and spares wear out .

Advice about master cylinder and servo please I'll provide pictures and info ASAP

 

Stick with the standard ones. No need to change.

 

Soo I was going to make an engine stand today but one of my machines broke so I've got to do proper work instead

Had a good chat with Jason this morning ( mr hillclimber JMR ) and he's given me some excellent help saving me from making a booboo of getting some ABF Pistons when I need 6a or 9a Pistons
Gave me some contacts for getting my crank ground

Now just had another look at my race engine Pistons and rods and I now think they are kr rods but drilled for 20mm pins
Abf Pistons decked and pocketed
Is it ok to precision drill out a 19mm bush to 20mm ?
Here's a couple of pictures please can someone confirm?

 

Any photos of the top of the piston, with any numbers stamped on ?

 

No the pistons been machined and re pocketed to get right hight
