I've got some without the flexi bit and haven't had any problems with them.

I got a set they were on the same offer couple of years ago, they are still going strong and not showing any signs of wear or losseness etc and if they do, just swap em:thumbup:

That's kind of the price they always are but as above they are a bargain for the quality of them, been using them for years now and no probs at all...

Slightly cheaper with the trade card too!

I Poped into halfords today to pick one of those sets up but when i asked a guy to get one from the locked cabinet he said the above one was at 60 at the moment.
"Oh, I thought in the paper it said that was at 39, I said"

"No, The 39 pound one is the 33 piece one, It doesnt have the swivel heads but its just the same but more. He said"

Fine i will take that one then:lol:

So i got this one marked at 79.99 for 39.99

popped into my local one in bedford at the weekend, no sign what so ever of a sale on tools, all top price.

where as at my GF it was money of this and that, need to invest in a tool box for work as well. one of the sale items.

Tip for the ratchet spanners if they start to seize up a bit - mainly from rust etc from fasteners....

Cut the top off the can of WD40 and leave them standing in it overnight - ratchets will be like new the next day!

I keep meaning too to mark or paint the side on them that "unfastens" as I always seem to put them the wrong way round. [:$]

been looking at these for a while. might take the plunge as its the last day of the 'sale' today. looks like you got a bargain there mat-mk3, Id prefer that set.

    EDIT
bought a set they look and feel quality.
they have a arrow each side to tell you which way the ratchet's turning...
liking the socket adaptor gives a real slim ratchet where you can get a normal ratchet on, which happens to me quite often on the mk2..
