Has anyone had their standard Mk2 steering wheel re-trimmed in leather?

A couple of months ago I bought a Momo Team steering wheel and boss.
After some consideration, I'm wondering whether to fit the Momo, as I think it's a bit small (300mm) or maybe look into getting the standard one re-trimmed in leather. Just wondering if anyone has done this before and was it expensive? I've seen a few on eBay, but not keen on spending £200+ on one.
If I do get the standard one re-trimmed, the Momo and the boss will be for sale (brand new, still in the boxes).
    Thanks!

I’ve considered one of the leather covers you can buy, fitted one of these to my old Landcruiser, was a decent fit

Hold out for a sensibly priced oem leather one, I've had 3 or 4 all bought on ebay and never more than 80 quid.

Pay less for one showing wear and recondition yourself using one of the kits for about 25 quid as I did.

^^^before and after. The finish calmed down to a more oem matt look once it all dried.

    Thanks mate.
I'll keep my eyes open for an OEM one on ebay.
Which reconditioning kit did you use?

Thought I'd just fit it. Doesn't look too bad when it's on.

the proper leather wheel rim and spokes are notched in a bit so the leather sits flush, so only issue retrimming a plastic wheel is it ends up looking a little chunky and its a little tricky to make the leather look neat. also they have notches carved in where the stitching goes so it sits flush at the joins

I've had a little drive with the Momo on.
Can honestly say, I don't like it.
Feels too small. I'll leave it on for the MOT.
Looks like I'll be looking for a larger aftermarket or OEM leather wheel.

    I've got a few Momo's (Millenniums mostly).

    300mm 320 and 380 iirc.

Used the bigger one on the MK2 as I removed the power steering (which is getting repaired and re-fitted!).
