Heated seat pads

Hi

Got some heated seat pads, see photo.

But which is the base and which is the backrest?

Not 100% but thought the white smaller one is base, larger grey is back.
What were they from ?

 

Cheers, I am told they were from a Mk2 (certainly the switch orientation is correct)

 

I wonder what way faces up, i.e. is closest to the seat fabric?

 

Cool. Would probably have wire outlet away from face ( well, back and ar$#, as if it's your face, you are definitely sitting uncomfortably)
Then the junction doesn't rub on fabric of seat.

 

Bit late, but white one is for the backrest and the grey with the thermistor is for base. Both have the soldered connections facing into the seat.
