Just thought I'd drop in and say hello. I had set up an account on here a few months back after I bought my MK2. It has had a few teething issues since I bought it and I have almost got it running perfectly. Thanks to those of you who already helped out with some pointers that helped me fix a couple of problems. I may start a build thread in the near future. The car looks a little scruffy but it is solid underneath thankfully. I have read through a few of the build threads in the members gallery and it really has given me some drive and inspiration to get mine looking good. Hope to interact with some of you all soon

Sure, here are a few details 1990 MK2 GTI 8V Purchased the car on roughly 110,500 miles on 15th April It's had a few modifications done to it already, some of which I'll be keeping and others I'll be switching out KW V2 Coilovers Fully polybushed (Excluding engine mounts) Jetex Stainless Exhaust 15" BBS RZ Wheels Hella Smoked Rears Tinted crosshair headlights Here is a pic from a couple of days after I bought it Fitted some Half Smoked Hella rears which I bought as a little birthday present to myself Took a trip to Caffeine & Machine for the MK2 Owners evening at the end of June. Annoyingly, I was washing the car before heading there and my nearside skirt trim fell off (fixed now) I have got a few plans for it, the number one thing being a full respray as the car is littered with dents and scratches and I am extremely OCD when it comes to paintwork lol
