Hello! I am new to Club GTI and I noticed my Polo 6n 16v has Club GTI on back window so wondered if anyone here has previously owned it?
I don't recognise it but welcome to the forum anyway! 1.4 AFH 16v in there? They are a superb engine.
Hi Ben. Thanks for the warm welcome! Yeah it's a 1.4 AFH 16v, it's covered 144k though so it's not in perfect condition. Got a few problems, leaking coolant from coolant manifold and seems the water pump gasket is leaking sometimes but never overheats just have to have lots of bottles handy on a long journey haha. This would be the 6th 6n I owned, I love them
Welcome to Club GTI Have you tried some of the coolant additives to stop the leaks or are they too leaky for them?
