   I had a free hour today to get back to stripping my loom down and removing the burnt out mfa wire and I got about half way to the bulkhead and found that the mfa earth joins onto a brown with red wire? Do I need to remove that as well or is it important?

   heyup that brown/red used to go to the coolant level warning sensor, it can be stripped out.
   
   with the mfa issue see if you can find a male spade near the fusebox on the dash wiring with a brown and brown/white, you need to earth this
