Help is really needed

    Hello, this is my first message on here, only joined yesterday :)

    Does anyone know what engine oil my GTI Edition 30 needs, e.g. Castrol? No one can give me straight answer :)

    Whatever the dealer stocks (Synta or Quantum) is the correct oil. Decent price too.

    Castrol Edge 5w 30 - It should be to 504/507 standard. Even if you run your servicing regime on time/date rather than variable, you can use the longlife oil.

    I'd definitely recommend using the longlife oil regardless of which service regime you are on:thumbup:

    Oh and it is great to see a fellow Sheffielder on here[:D]
