Some people might say 1985cc isn't fully 2 litres so it's 1.9? Ask him what
the capacity or engine number is on his shiny new V5C.

    too early for a 2.0 i'm afraid. Will be a 1.8 if its a 16v

    Or could be a 1.9 5 cylinder [:s]

Whereabouts in the country - very roughly - is this GT? I've just phoned up about one that's going for 275 and spoke to someone who didn't know anything about it except it is a 16V G-reg, but her bloke is going to phone me later. So I guess a G could be a KR or 9A...

I reckon A 947 is right. It would have been an 1800 16v then at some stage bored to 1900

Passats did have a 1921cc 5cyl but that was years ago in an Y/A reg GL5 models. These where not F.Inj either.
