lets be realistic.... mk2 golfs are worth between 1000 - 3000. Yours is mint so about 2500-3000 maybe? how old is it?
TBH, I doubt it would fetch that kind of money. I would think more 1,500 to 2,000. if it really is in good nick, bearing in mind it's an 8v and not a real '90' spec.
I't only worth what someone is willing to pay for it! An idea of age and mileage might be useful, but i'd say you'd be looking at a top limit of 2.5k!
its a 1988f and its done 130k with a partial vagsh but i've replaced loads on the car such as wheel bearings strut tops etc the engine has also been well looked after and sounds and pulls like a new car.
Take a lot of the easier to sell parts off the car and sell them seperately, it wont affect the sale value of the car relly, and in the end you will likely make more. Modified cars are not worth much at all really, well not compared to what you put into them. I certainly know mine would get broken long before i ever sold it complete!
I thought the neon's were a joke I think you will be lucky to get 2k IMO there are just so many on the market.
