In the pile of receipts are a couple of bits I was wondering about.

The first is 06F 198 119 A - Repair kit. That was fitted along with water pump, chain and tensioner. Any idea what it is?

    The second is 06F 109 102 B - Camshaft. Is that a direct replacement or upgrade? That was fitted along with S06F 109 088 J - Adjuster.

    Thanks

The repair kit will more than likely be a cam belt kit at a guess

You guess right, cambelt kit inc tensioners, replacement nuts, bolts, roller etc.

06F109102B is an exhaust cam for an AXX MK5 golf code engine amongst others. 06F109088J is a camshaft adjuster for a BLX, BLY and BLR engine. The AXX adjuster assembly appears to be sold as 1 piece, though when you actually look inside the kit it includes the 06F109088J part number so I guess you actually can change this part by itself.

Whats the year/code of your car so I can check the parts above against it? I picked 04 Golf at a guess
