I've just gone to put my clutch down and put it in first gear (like you do ) and as i was pressing the clutch down i heard a BANG [:^(] and then the clutch pedal became all sloppy and it now feels like there is no tention because the clutch pedal just stays down and can move it up but when i press it down and go to take my foot off the pedal the clutch pedal stays there. have i knackered my clutch plus a little bit of plastic appeared on the floor when it went BANG please help me
Your clutch should be ok.I used to get this regular with my Renault 19 16v (French Guff).It will either be your clutch cable or the plastic ratchet assembly on your clutch pedal.
Well a bit of plastic has snappted off so it sounds like it's the plastic ratchet assembly so what should i do now + where can i get a plastic ratchet assembly from cheers for the feedback guys
