Help!!!!

    Doing project at uni to do with distributor. Im wanting to find out what the main shaft is made out of (some sort of steel). R there any web sites that are good for this sorta thing or does anyone know?

    Why not ask a Bosch agent? That'll be the best option.

    Can`t imagine it is anything special as there are no great amount of torque applied to it so therefore I would assume it will be an ordinary mild steel which would be easily machined for mass production.Of which there are many variants but very little difference.
    In my job if there is any material that we do not know what the spec is a sample is sent for analysis.
