Renewal just came through. I'm with adrian flux at the moment and was going to try HIC but have heard a few bad things recently about customer service once the policy is with them true?
yeah i've heard they're customer service is sh1te too....get a quote from HIC but try Greenlight too. U might find that Flux will want to keep u as a customer and beat any of the others anyway....try em.
i was gonna try them...but after 10 mins of waiting for the phone to be answered i thought 'f**k you' elephant then gave a quote that no one would beat
HIC customer services suck, moved from them 2yrs ago to Liverpool Victoria, they were the cheapest by miles, give them a go

we cannot insure: Cars which have performance enhancing modifications I reckon they'd consider a filter, decat and exhuast as this if i was to claim [:^(]
This is very odd, as I have a Jetex s/s exhaust, K&N filter, and uprated suspension, which they know all about
ring liverpool victoria, HIC kpet me on hold for i don't know how long, now got a direct number as they had to ring me back-which the guy did very quickly, ben with them before, took ages with paper work etc, always on hold for ages trying to get through so either green light or brent acre will be getting my business in the next few days. HIC didn't have a very good quote but the extras were useful.. track day cover etc.
I just got my renewal through as well matey. I'm with flux. Yes they do price match. My renewal was 925.50 phoned Performance direct 850 Brentacre 850 Tesco 795.90 Flux price match 786.50 HIC 750 FLux 2nd price match 744.50 Managed to save myself 181! Can't moan i suppose. Remember to ask excess prices etc and when they ask what your best quote is tell them that includes the leagl fees and personal cover etc crap.
When I phoned HIC a few days ago, I was speaking to someone within a couple of minutes. Which is better than the average of 20 or 30 minutes I was experiencing before! Hope they can keep it up.
Greenlight try them mate, they came up top for me when i was insuring my VR6... Liverpool Victoria some stupid ludicrous amount HIC 1000 Greenlight 664, all mods declared and they replace modified parts for modified parts.

I've used HIC for about 4 years now and they are getting better at answering the phone and returning calls the last time I spoke to them they were training more people up I dont have a prob with them
