Afternoon. I've been looking into buying a set of hole punch & flare swage dimple tools, from 1/4", 1/2", 1", 2". Can anyone make any recommendations? As its a fair bit of money to be spending on tooling that will most likely only be used a couple of times. Or alternatively does anyone know of any cheaper sets? Thanks. Mikey
I got a cracking set of hole punches for about 100 quid second hand, i think theres 8 of them, half inch to 3 inch. Often called 'knockout punches'. Mine are Greenlee, highly rated. Similar set http://toolmonger.com/2007/09/10/greenlees-slug-buster-knockout-punch/ The flares are available off ebay for reasonable cost, can get them individually or in sets.
