How fast is a Passat?

How fast is a 52 plate 110bhp TDI Passat, in totally standard trim?

I didn't you know could get a 110TDI on a '52 plate. I thought they were 100 or 130?

Oh.. maybe it was only a 100 then. Not too up to spec on the Diesels. It had only 1 red letter on it though... whats that mean?

110 is SDI i believe...

115 is TDI.... since i have been researching them lately..

 

Nope. SDI is only 64BHP

depending on age the TDI's are:
TDI 90/100BHP
TDI 110/115 BHP
TDI 130 BHP
TDI 150 BHP V6

 

My W-reg '00 is a 115PD and has a red D and I.

I think they were

Originally TDI = 90, TDI = 110
Then the PDs came along
TDI = 115
Then the base model was uprated and got a red I
TDI = 100
Then the PD was uprated
TDI = 130

Not sure about the V6 badging though, not many about. Passat never got the 150 PD 4 cylinder.

Do you know how it compares with the 150PD engine in the Bora and Golf?

As far as I can tell the Passat TDI V6 gives either 160bhp and 258lbft or 177bhp and 273lbft

The Golf TDI 150 has 148bhp and 236lbft.
