Parz and I just lowerd it this morning... No idea how much of a drop it is but I reckon its more than 40mm.
about 80mm ish on shocks and springs low profile tyres dont help with the look, but 185/60 r14 are about 25mm in to the arch
But thats what makes her look mean, plus the grill has a hole in the top of it because of a stupid big bird.
Standard t'isnt a bad height to be at - i dont think mines too high. ...soon to be 60mm lower, soon as a good susp kit comes my way.
i want to get away from standard due to being too soft at the front. i have either incorrect or dead boge turbos on the front and gmax on the rear. i think the springs are standard. i dont care about ride height too much, i want dampers. even thinking about going to adjustable dampers so i can play with it
For all you peeps running low, dont you get any tyre/arch rub? I kept having to raise the front end as I ended up gorging through a tyre round the track. It doesn't sit high, but its not as low as it could be. Tyres are 195/55/15's. I'm thinking that with 195/45's, I can get some camber on and get the height back down, thoughts?
mine's standard for a mk2 driver. i have higher profile wheels on the rear (got them like that) which tilts the front forward gives it a bit more of a hotrod look which i like. scared to lower it because of the nasty insurance companies.
Im running fk coilovers with about 8mm left of thread. So something in the reigon of 112mm lower that standard Pictures to coming soon!
nope, nothing - the RA's with 195/50's never, and the 7.5" wide RM's with 195/45's don't ever rub either.
untouched since germany I think these things look so much better with crap up the sides, look like they been enjoying their time
low enough to hear the front spoiler scrape, and knock my front arches off once or twice have, still got plenty left on the coilies tho!! lower than most round my way.
