hey everyone, im thinking of selling my mk2 vr and going for a corrado vr6. Just fancy a change/project, although I really will miss the attention and fun I have in the mk2. Do you guys think 3-3.5k is enough for a clean well looked after vr6 corrado? also in reviews they state the 0-60 is 7.7?! Im sure they could go quicker than that?

That kind of money will buy you a decent VR Rado, especially your upper limit. And i am sure the 0-60 time is quoted at more like 6.5 secs tbh.

ok cool thanks, ive always loved the corrados but tonight ive started having a proper thing about one and checked a couple of sites e.g pistonheads etc and they seem to vary quite a lot. yer 3.5k seems the going rate of what I have seen. 6.5secs sounds more like what I was expecting too, may have been crappy sites on net!

Well according to Practical Classics magazine`s buying guide (yes, they really are classed as a (future) classic!), a VR in excellent condition will set you back around 6000; a half decent one, around 3750; and a rough one will cost you around 2000.

You can easily get a Storm for 5k yes. I used the Corrado forum for 2yrs when i had my Rado and the Storms only start to fetch silly money (or rather advertised for daft money) if they have low miles, such as way under 100k.

The general consensus is that Corrado's have hit a slump and aren't commanding strong money now so a good VR can be had for a keen price.
