    copper is 2000 a tonne!

    steel,iron & other crap is not alot a tonne, im sure it's only 50quid????

    maybe wrong....

    I believe ferrous scrap is about 180 per tonne.

    Ferrous is around 90+ Has been higher last few weeks....

    Coppers around 2800...

    dave is pretty much right, I had over 200/tonne mentioned to me last week, gone up again.

    So if you roll up to the scrap place with a lorry of assorted stuff do they take it as a general load of ferrous scrap?

    (Like the "rag and bone man" would have in his lorry?)

    Rather than try and sort it all out.

    I nearly weighed in a knackered set of alloys recently for 90p/Kg, so that's 900/tonne.

    At 2800 a tonne i probably have about 500 worth of scrap copper in my back garden [8D]

    One of the most thieved things from the grounds of folk's houses, keep your eyes on it.
    Plumber nephew was recently relieved of a huge amount that he'd collected over the course of a year, couldn't believe someone could have shifted it so quick - it was kept down the back of his shed.

    Err No:lol: They'll give **** money or all of it..

    We ton bag all ours..... Led,Brass, Copper..so on... Weigh it all seperate so it makes its respective price.. Then When all that off we dump the allumunium but they're fussy and it has to be clean.

    All our Steel goes in Bulk Bins around 5-6 a week:p
