I’ve Got A Degree

Got confirmation of passing my exams, so now have passed my Masters In Mechanical Engineering

To say i'm chuffed is an understatement

The last year is the worst - you get fed up with it. Keep the goal in mind - I'm in a job I love now, and without the degree I wouldn't have got anywhere near the interview. Being at work about 20 hours at the most a week on 37 hour pay does make a difference though.....

Hehe - I spent 5 years at uni to get an honours degree, no need for a masters when I was qualifying. I did urine through my least favourite lecturers office letterbox when I left though, and sent him shite and a dead seagull in the post.
Also got a "feedback" form through from the faculty recently, asking what I thought were the good and bad points of my course and what they could do to improve it. I just wrote on the bottom "Sack Desmond M******, he's a useless lecturer and tried to persuade me to have sex with him to guarantee a pass".
All of which was untrue, we just disliked each other because I knew more about materials and engines than he did, and I liked showing him up loudly and violently in front of the whole class. Anyone who did engineering at Dundee will know him as the "Silver fox".....
