i dont know what to do.. i want to lower my lupo and get new alloys. i havent got the money for coilovers at the moment. i was looking at some lowing springs. it said i can get a drop of 40mm for only 64.99. what is the catch with them. is there any thing else i can buy to lower the car? cheers chris
lowering springs is your cheapest way, and although i wouldn't recommend it, i spose with your car being pretty new, the standard shocks would be 'ok' with uprated and shortened springs. but i'd got for a full on kit for which you looking at around 200 for the cheaper end of the market
oh yer. do for a starter kit are the springs on there own my best bet. and will the springs look the same as a full kit lowered the same mm? chris
ah yeah, are you doing it yourself or getting them fitted? for 200 i would expect an uprated spring and damper set, have a look at venom or spax or somewhere for ideas.
wtf? 40mm lower spring about 50-60 from euro car parts! not the best but if you wanna do it cheap for now it will do.
