i've been converting some vinyl to mp3 recently, and the software is automatically uploading the mp3's to itunes, except i dont plan on having itunes forever so want the tracks backed up on my hard drive.

i've done it before with other tracks i have bought from itunes, but cant work out how its done again.

    anyone know?

    cheers in advance.

If you are on windows, go into 'my computer', and track down both the 'iTunes folder' and the 'my music' folder. Plug your hard drive in and locate this also and open it in 'my computer'. Once you have found the music in the 'iTunes' and 'my music' folders, simply select all, copy, and paste them into your hard drive.

    Hope this helps! :)
