what year? the original Polo GTI were 1.6 16v non turbo and they didn't do a turbo version. They came with 125 bhp in red silver or black and will cost roughly 2000 - 4000

The newest Polo GTI that looks like a mini MK5 Golf GTi (same style alloys and red gti grill)
is a 1.8 Turbo with 150 bhp. These will be considerably more as are maximum 3 years old i think ish!!!

If it is the older 1.6 GTI stating turbo, then it must be an aftermarket kit that has been fitted. I would be very carefull with cars like these, they can be a mindfield

If it's one of these, then they were never turbo'd

I think they only made 3000. 1000 each of Red, Black & Silver. Plus of each each colour was half(500) 5-door & half 3-door. Should be able to find a good one under 4-4.5k, or a minter (sorry for the pun!) for 5 grand

i think you're getting confused with the mk's....mk5 (or 6n2) is pictured above as top pic, mk4 (6n) came in 1.4 16v form as most potent

ah...only just noticed what it says underneath.....thats innacurate. the prob comes from the most people not knowing what a mk1 polo is, and thinking the mk2 is actually the mk1.

    to clarify...

    mk1

In theory, what we call the Mk5 is actually a Mk4.5. Its just a facelifted version of the older chassis. Mk4 = 6n, Mk4.5 = 6n2. Same can be said for the interpretation of the Mk6/7, really the Mk5 and Mk5.5, just facelifts.

To confuse matters more - most folk in polo circles refer to the 6N as the Mk3 and the one before that as the 2F. As its about 90% the same car as the mk2

    Cheers

Mk3 G40 was supercharged not turbo'd. This could be the polo you are referring to. 115bhp from a 1.3 supercharged engine.

Woops, didn't notice the picture if the Mk5 said Mk4. In my defence it was from an American site.
