Hello, just a few quick questions that are holding me back.

    Is this the IAT sensor?

That vacuum hose I'm holding is from my kjet airbox, what do i do with it? will it be used somewhere else.

Im struggling to think of how its going to get piped up, the oem rubber hose as know chance of fixing to the throttle body, Is the airbox even an ABF one as it hardly fits at all, is there a different airbox i should try ?

What you need airbox wise is a mk2 ibiza cupra (ABF) item, toledo TDI bottom half would be even better as it deletes the warm up pipe from the exhaust and clips straight onto the top half.

Does it have to a seat ibiza then, as it is an abf box, but ive removed nearly everything on it that sticks out, to fix it down Im going to have to bolt and nut it. And the outlet is pointing straight at the cambelt, Ill bin it if i have to, but just a waste of money !! lol

Anyone can say whether that is the IAT sensor, as I want to start wiring tomorrow.

    Thanks and thanks.

Tach signal, it says to take this too the positive on the distributor and the earth to negative, Ive looked online and also in my haynes but and on the dizzy, but cant seem to find where I would put this, Its only the tach signal and the 12v input thats giving me problems atm, got the harness in the bay and my ecu strapped up.

Tach sig goes to dizzy pin 2 or "0". TPS ref voltage of 5v goes to Dizzy pin 1 or "+" and the last is one of the long black wires that goes to Dizzy pin3 or "-". Hardly rocket science;)

As turbotommy suggested, get your engine bay neater, get one of these.

as above plus that vac line follow it back then remove it completely, cap off where it connects to to prevent a vac leak

yes I know, hence you dont need the vac line to the airbox which is why I told him to remove it and cap off

That is if he has a Seat air box in the first place! Should be common sense though to plug all holes that would by pass the air filter.

What? Go back and re-read the 1st post and look at the pic ;)
It's the old vac pipe from the brake servo brake pipe which went to the k-jet over-run cutoff and the vac enrichment switch. This car is not k-jet anymore, so this pipe is not needed. He asked the question what to do with it, I answered :p

I know but just thought it was any old abf airbox, and that he had a seat one.

I wont do nothing to that vac pipe atm though confusing, Ill deal with it when I gets there!

Why does it say on the wire "map sensor", but then on the pin diagram, it has it down as go to IAT sensor ? Thats where I connected it to the IAT sensor.
