My golf mk3 GTi just krenk and wont start. But when it does start, when i press the excel before it gets warm, it turns itself off and wont start again till maybe after 3 to 4 hours. They suspected a coil, i changed it but still wont start. Changed plugs but nofing! At times it will start but will not iddle for a long time and will turn itself off. A friend suspected it could be iddle valve problem..can it be?
what engien code is it? if agg or ady it could be the crank sensor, i had a brand new one which would die once the engine go to around 80 degrees and wouldn't work again till car had cooled
