Rallye Golf A59 (1993) - This rallye golf is a prototype that spent more than 20,000 km of time at the Nurburgring with greats like Walter Roehrl doing testing. 2,500 units were planned for limited production but was later canceled before production started.

    fugly!

    cheap and nasty!

looks like a very poor attempt at a bodykit!

what was the engine & drivetrain spec of it?

doesn't look too bad to me apart from the seemingly random holes all over the bonnet.

May well be a good car for driving but it looks as though it has ramraided Halfords.

wasn't there a guy in the golf or PVW recently with a mk3 rallye? an american chap-but the car was one of three in exsistance the other two being in museums.
didn't really understand if it was the body kit he had that was special-sadly it looked w*nk, or the engine which again was nothing really special.

I'd quite like one just for the novelty factor of hardly anyone having one :)
