Treated myself to a camcorder today, so thought it rude not to get one of these...

    Headrest mount

Should be arriving tomorrow ready for its track debut @ Combe on Saturday. [:D] Hopefully It will show me passing a couple of 2WD Saff Cossies ;) [:$]

Is this similar or totally different to the kind of set up other people use for in-car footage?? [:[] Most of the others I found on the 'Net were of a suction pad design to go onto the pax window/windscreen, but I thought this looked more substantial.. :)

Should of got yourself one of these!!!!! [:D]
Use the sony hi-res bullet cam for trackdays.
Camera can stay nice and safe under the seat of the bike or in the glovebox of the car [:D]

Thats what i'm looking for to save battery on the camera, the bullet cam works off the 12v lighter socket!!

Where do you get a DC to AC inverter ???
Seems strange to run 12v DC thro an inverter just to plugin the cameras mains AC charger into convert it back to DC !! [:s]

    Cheers

Only as good as what its mounted too, any flex in the seat and the camera wobbles.

Here's a good way to test how good the mount is, if you can set the cam to record with steady shot (or whatever stability prog it has) turned off and the video is super smooth then you have got it sorted !
