    Hello.

    Couple of quick questions:

1)My indicator arm has snapped off. Whats the best way of replacing it?

2)HAving some problems changing gear. When I depress the clutch, it sometimes wont go into gear. If I release the clutch a couple of times, then it goes in fine. Sometimes it works fine. Happens with all gears, but most with 1st, 2nd and recently 5th more often. Is this a new clutch only? Or will I need to recondition gearbox too?

Been looking at quaife 6 speed boxes, but its about 1600 quid. Is this about right?

    I have a Mk2 G60 (Golf) - is it the 02A vbox?

    Cheers in advance!

    Ian.

    1. remove the steering wheel and you will see three slot headed bolts. unscrew these, remove the indicator stalk and replace with a new one. You can get them cheap from breakers yards. G60 ones are the same as normal golf indicator stalks I believe.

    2. Sounds like your clutch hydraulics need bleeding. Or perhaps the slave cylinder on the box is on its way out. Check that first before getting involved with changing the clutch etc.
