have all indicators stopped working or do they work with the hazard light switch?

    firstly check your fuses

Going from left to right in your fusebox...

check fuse 4 (emergency light system) and fuse 19 (turn signals/indicators), and replace if either are blown

    if these are ok...

check your indicator relay (little cubic boxes above your fuses) iirc
its the one on the furthest right hjas three pins on 49, 49a and 31

the hazards work but the left and right signal doent seem to work. i changed the stalks still the same, and also checked the fuses. no fuses were blown.

Replace the hazard switch before doing anything drastic, as the indicators worth thru it. Then try the relay, then get new stalks.

The chunky stalks from early MK2s fit straight on BTW :)

i had exactly the same problem, was a fuse though, dont make my mistake
and check continuity while the fuse is in the fusebox..it doesnt work
that way as i found out [:$][:$]

relay or hazard switch then i guess, changing the stalks was a bit drastic wasnt it?
