hello everyone, i have just done a vr engine conversion to my mk2, i got my old engine on ebay atm which is a 16v a bloke has just messaged me saying he got a 8v and he wants to put a new engine in it, will the 16v fit and what would he need to do to get it running??
it depends on what 8v he has k-jet or digi and the age of you 16v but engine loom plus ecu and the controller for the isv behind the center console all the k-jet injection if his 8v is k-jet he can keep the fuel pumps he has if it is digi he will need the k-jet pumps fillter accumulator and fuel pipes to go with them or he could put twin 40 or 45 webers and fact fuel pump and regulator just use ignition ecu and loom at the end of the day it's up to him good luck with the sale
