Hey guys... just want to know will fitting a new alternator mess up with the timing or anything else?

is it as simple as pull out the old one and put the new one in?

    any advice would be awesome.

    Thanks

Disconnect the earth on the battery first to avoid shorting anything out then yeah, just unbolt the old and bolt in the new

twisting the belt is the test done on the canbelt not the alternator belt
with the alternaotr belt you just have to give it a push midway between alternator and water pump, it should not move more than a quarter of an inch (1/4")
    hope that helps you out

don't forget you'll probably have to re-tighten the belt in a week or so
