Finally saved up enough for a Gti, thinking of spending 4k on a Mk3. Its going to have to be an 8v due to insurance purposes.

Been quoted 1,400 quid fully comp and 1,100 quid third party with Tesco.

Have been driving for 3 and a half years but on my mums policy!

    Questions

1.Can i claim some no claims bonusses from my mums policy?

2.Would you insure a car of that value, third party or fully comp?

3.What company would you reccommend taking the policy out with due to being cheap like the budgie?

    1. Erm i dont think you can take your mums no claims bonus, just have her insure it and have you as a named driver.
    2. Anything over 3k i would go fully comp mate then you will get your car sorted if you crash it.
    3. All the usual HIC, Greenlight, Herts, Liverpool victoria....etc etc
Others might say different but thats what this is for.
