I'm after some help in fidning a good insurance company for my car after its been changed from a 2.0 8v to a 2.0 16v. I know its not a big change but i was wondering how the insurance would class it ( obvisouly as a heavily modified 8v), and who the best company to go with would be? Mk1's with engine conversions (1.8t etc) can be insured under a Classic car policy i have heard ( no chance with mine !!) Are there any Mk2 VR6 owners who have had good quotes from companies after the transplants? I am currently with HIC but was wondering if there are any specialist companies that deal with this kind of thing? Thanks in advance.
