    hi

    been quoted 690 fully comp for '88 gti in the best colour (helios) :) im 30 with no no climas but full bike no claims

    is this ok

    can i put this car on limited mileage or is '88 too young - it wont be everyday car

    seems OTT to me. try vw specialist insurers ( found at back of PVW, Goof etc

    That's expensive. Try HIC on limited mileage.

    Sounds way over the top to me. If you have a clean licence and ok postcode I'd expect more like 300-400.
