and I have done a few online quotes with tescos and diamond (sorry lads) which have been really good but I dont have their numbers to hand

 

Diamond shouldn`t be allowed to trade as it is sexist to discriminate is it not.

 

[:^(] but they do do good quotes for the ladies I put my vr through a quote and it was 50 cheaper than HIC but then I redone it declared my mods but they wouldn't do cover for my car unless i called them oops

 

My wife insured the VR through Direct Line mods incuded and got a good price.

cool I have mine with hic they cant do no wrong by me Just got my mkII insured for its second year for 170 TPFT with all mods declared that made me smile cause they sent me the renewal for 230 and look one phone call use a bit of charm on the phone and hey presto 60 off

 

HIC 4 me, just 30 more than vdubgirl (modded MKII 8v also)must be my slightly dirty licence!

Brentacre Insurance do me a really good deal on the MK1 now;
Adrian Flux insured tthe car when I first had it at 22 and they again did me a good price.
so both these firms get my vote

 

Get Flux to quote you, then HIC to match it with better cover. Worked for me
