over the week end i was in wales getting sun burnt! at the international welsh rally, (was there as part of a rally team -helping out as service crew for matt bradley) any of you lot there? here are some pics, cant be bothered to host all the pics some are pretty poor! how do i host a vid? i have some of a 6r4 - and if you know what one of them are you will know the noise they make! the rally was held in the MOD training area, in the middle of no where, (that stage was called dears leap i think) there are loads of camoed ppl around. theres also a fake german vilage in the middle of no where for training, fireing ranges, bullet, smoke greanades and rockets lying around all over the place, we stayed in a camp /caravan site in Llandidod wells (sp?!) tim

Aha, that explains it, we saw a Rally prepared 6R4 and Quattro on trailers in North Wales on the A5 yesterday afternoon ( spent the day touring round North Wales in the R32) Spooky, we went up into Wales from Worcs via LLandidrod Wells too Edited by: GVK
there were only two 6r4s there, a red one and a yellow/orange one, there were audi quattros though? i have a couple of vids any idea how i can host them? tim
The one I saw was a blue/white one Computervision works livery, and the Quatro was in blue/white with Shell logos. Maybe at a different event? [
Looks like that stage was on the Epynt range.... Its used on the Rally of GB, where it is called "Halfway"
Epynt range - yeh thats the one yeh halfway rings a bell, was a good weekend, - one car rolled in to a river, that wide escort mated witha tree, saw a mini nearly flip after that jump back end bounced up and flicked him round, was lucky he didnt flip it, tim

the 6r4's sound awesome eh? makes me laugh how they get through the noise test no probs and yet they always pull my mates,carbed/xe lumped escort.
yeh i know, mad aint it, mats 205 is pretty loud too, its a 1600 gti on TB's and sounds mental! bloody rapid too! tim
