Now I'm not into Apple at all, but if it's true, I think that idea is absolutely f*cking brilliant! When I go to a live gig I hate the way that almost everyone has to hold a bleeding mobile in the air making a grainy, crappy video of it. FFS, put the phone away and just enjoy being at a live gig, losers. OK, so I admit I did film some of Rammstein at Sonisphere.
Apple file millions of patents, but they rarely follow some them through. Its just so that anyone else copying their ideas can be filed against. This idea wouldnt be very sound, as you could be at a live event that is for example, put on locally, with local acts. They would want their performances recorded for exposure and promotion. iOS5 looks absolutely amazing, and cant wait to try it. The app issues will be sorted once iOS5 is released, as nobody has released iOS5 approved versions of their apps. So bound to happen. I wouldnt even bother updating until the GM is released nearer to the fall release.
Beta 3 out this week and you can now set your own custom SMS tones!! hope it make the final iOS5 release!
They better sort out my hacked iTunes account before i spend any more money with them! Had 30 of gift cards on my account stolen (Used for poker chips, I dont even know how to play poker!) as well as 1000's of other people. Its Apples own system thats been hacked, Not my PC or iPhone!
I think it will work as far back at 3gs... some features wont work because early iPhones lack the hardware needed
