Is it Sacrilege to Break this Mk1 Golf???

Don't break it - let someone else have it as a project.

 

I will do mate- going to start stripping it tomorrow - the interior is already spoken for but the engine and auto box will be available, will Pm you when i get it out (the engine that is )

Like has been said its yours to do with as you please.

Im of the opinion that 5 door mk1's can make wikid projests these days.

I cant argue with the fact that a caddy is getting the bits which is more than worth breaking an auto mk1 for.

PS - but still a shame to see a nice 5 door mk1 go to waste. Just make sure the shell goes to a good home so its not totally wasted.

 

Just sell on the 5 door

buy another Mk1 but make sure it's a 3 door so you'll have spare doors for your caddy then (that's if the caddy uses the same doors as a Mk1 Golf)

 

If someone had wanted it they'd have out bid you.

Like my MK1 Scirocco, no one else bid on it as it's an auto the same so it's mine to do with as I want.

 

Caddy uses doors off a 5 door mk1 i believe

It'll be a shame to see it dismantled imo, but then I do have a mk1 5 door.

 

Thats why i bought it for the parts and panels!

 

caddys use the shorter five door mk1

 

if you break that car and sell the parts off on ebay or on here then your actually helping build other mk1's to probably better examples.
it is a shame, but its also just an old car that you need bits off.
