I have put a post up about my engine being pretty tired after 250K, and the head gasket having gone water to cyl. It has been suggested to me to buy a 1.8 lump off someone on here, so here goes...... Basically I have neither the tools (i.e. a hoist) nor the confidence to sw*p the lump out myself if i can help it - i have done several Bug/T2 sw*ps so am not a dunce but i am getting older and lazier now Basically i was wondering if there was someone who could a) Sell me a good 1.6 or 1.8 carb lump - and.... b) For an extra fee help me fit it!
