It would be nice to know how far in advance of the 'risk area' it warns you. The dearer ones let you choose this, they tell you what type of trap it is, and tell you your speed. They let you choose how loud the audible alert is, and differentiate between cameras on the other side of the road, ones that are just nearby but not on your road. They also look better. Obviously though they're much dearer. For 80 if you can't afford a dear one at the mo or don't want to fork out, a single fine plus points would more than pay for it.
If it does exactly what it says on the tin and I didn't have a snooper I'd definitely be tempted.
Other places are starting to stock it too, so I might hang on a bit till some reviews come out, I haven't seen this one reviewed yet.
I think it would definitely be better than no detector though.
    :)

If it does what it says on the tin, then 80 is a bargain. I get pished
off because the Road Angel is a bit 'obvious'; I wish it was a little
smaller and I could mount it out of the way and use all external
sensors sometimes. That one looks quite subtle in comparrison.

I use a speed camera overlay on my satnav - cost less than 200 all in, including the PDA.
