Think I may have a problem.

Just bought another engine, and parts.

The S3 lump that is in the golf came into my ownership 2 years ago, and I only got the golf 15 months ago, so it's normal for me to hoard.

Here's the story, was on a break at work and messaged a friend asking if he had a set of gti sideskirts for Ed's polo as I'm recommissioning that, he replied he didn't, so I said what have you got left?
10 minutes later and I've bought the 1.8t engine, gearbox, ecu, loom, hybrid K03S and full milltek system from a 9n3 polo.
Was an absolute bargain, and he is delivering it too.
So now I have all those bits, rear anti roll bar, big brakes ( lcr brembo and 312 tt set up for the front plus 256 rears) few sets of 5x100 alloys, 2 bluemotion kits (minus front splitter).

Better start thinking of a project to use it in, perhaps polo 9n clubsport as inspiration.

    Hmmm, can't help myself.

Can never have too many engines. I’ve got 3, one plonked in the car and 2 in the shed. I need to find an ABF so I can start the ABF turbo build

Arrived on Monday, 5 speed has 100mm cups as a point of interest to others.
Ecu and engine side loom all present, car side loom chopped.

Question, if the recipient vehicle has an me7.5 ecu, can I plug this straight in , immobiliser deleted obviously, as in are ecu pinouts compatible car side? If that makes sense.

It balances shoe obsession and vintage clothing here.

Due purely to my inability to get anything done I've still got the original KR, the ABF from the donor car and the BAM that will eventually be fitted. £ engines seems perfectly normal to me... If anyone should want to help with my lack of organisational skills feel free to help me out!

More parts in the pile, genuine seat sport cupra intercooler plus hard pipework, set of TT comps and tyres which clear the lcr brembo calipers without spacers, fabia vrs rear brake lines (rear calipers) and 9n3 gti cables. Engine bay 1.8t polo loom.
And found locally a front polo bluemotion splitter that needs repairing so grabbed that.
Did manage to sell some bits and have a bit of space in the shed, we'll for 5 minutes.

Meanwhile these are now part of the family Screenshot_20211204-192439_Chrome.jpg
