The corrado is an 8v. I only want a nice late spec shell, I've already got all the VR6 running gear I need for it. It's dragon green. a late VR would cost 6000+, this one is only 2395!
If only i could help you with this conversion Paul! I could kinda re-pay the help you've given me by getting my hands dirty with this little project. It'd teach me a thing or two too!
Paul, My mate bought a G60 Corrado shell from a VW place near Derby for 350 about a year ago. There are a couple of people selling Corrado parts, so you could get all that you need for 1000. Saying that, getting one of those wheezy underpowered 8v Corrado's off the road is reason enough to buy it and chop it up.
It had no doors/wings/bonnet and tailgate though. Must work out more expensive if all your getting is a totally bare shell. Especially at the price of Corrado parts!! Paul - may have an idea for that 8V!! Will email you......yet again!
No point paying for a shell, the other parts are too hard to come by and expensive. it's easiert to buy a whole car and sell the bits you don't need.
how are you ever gonna get the paint on the corrado to the same std as that on the VR? or is this corrado fire damaged
